Sports Medicine is about prevention, diagnosis and treatment of lesions to the athlete’s musculoskeletal system but also about improving his performance. Each sport discipline needs a specific approach which is defined through the close collaboration between the athlete and his team (physician, physiotherapist, masseur, trainer and coach).

Current Swiss Orthopaedics / SIWF continuing education diploma. Henning Meyer, MD, continues to fulfil the continuing education requirements in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. His current diploma is valid for 2025–2027.
